Scheduling is always a concern for parents of school age children and we make every effort to accommodate school and work schedules. Our regular office hours are Tuesday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM  and on alternating Mondays from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Scheduling Policies

We schedule all children under the age of 5 between 8:00 AM and 12:PM.  Young children do better when they are well rested and we find early appointments are best for them.  Also, they are not in school and we try to reserve late appointments for school age children.

Children Under 5

We reserve our afternoons from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM for routine exams, cleanings and orthodontic appointments. Our goal is to reduce the amount of time children must miss school for dental appointments.  If this is a concern call the office to schedule appointments as soon as you receive you reminder card.  Remember these appointments fill quickly.

Cleanings, Routine Exams, and Orthodontics

We schedule all operative appointments (cavities) before 2:00 PM. We do this to limit the amount of time children miss school. Most children only need operative work a few times in their school carriers but need cleanings every 6 months.  We reserve our after school appointment times for cleanings and our early appointment times for cavities.

Operative Work

We have a block of time reserved each month at Children’s Hospital.. It is always the 3rd Monday of each month from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.  If your child is scheduled for Outpatient surgery it will be according to this schedule.
